Overview

Brown & Black is a premium leather brand offering handbags, jackets, shoes, and accessories. The client’s earlier website was built on Wix, and despite having good products, the store struggled with conversions, scalability, and overall user experience.

The goal was to rebuild the entire online store on WordPress + WooCommerce, creating a modern, conversion-focused, premium shopping experience that reflects the brand’s identity and increases orders.

The Challenge

The previous Wix-based website had several limitations:

  • Outdated and non-premium visual presentation
  • Weak product storytelling and poor product layout
  • Limited customization flexibility

The brand positioned itself as premium leather — but the website did not reflect that identity. There was a clear disconnect between product quality and online experience.

The challenge was to create a store that feels luxurious, structured, and conversion-optimized — while ensuring scalability for future growth.

The Solution

rebuilt the entire store using WordPress and WooCommerce, focusing on premium positioning, performance optimization, and conversion psychology.

The design direction was minimal, elegant, and product-focused. Large product imagery, strong typography, structured category layouts, and refined spacing were implemented to create a luxury shopping feel. Navigation was reorganized to improve discoverability across Women, Men, Travel, and Accessories categories.

Product pages were completely restructured to highlight:

  • Clear pricing hierarchy
  • Variant selection (colors, options)
  • Strong product descriptions
  • High-quality image galleries
  • Clear call-to-action placement

Performance optimization and checkout flow improvements were implemented to reduce friction and increase completed purchases.

The result is a modern eCommerce platform that aligns with the brand’s premium identity and converts significantly better than the previous Wix store.
